Doug's favorite mantra is “The quality of life is determined by the quality of your relationships.” So when people want to improve their life, he understands the importance of helping them improve the quality of their relationships – in their marriage, in their family, in their daily lives, in their spiritual lives, and in the mirror. 

Doug  has a real knack for making people feel comfortable, even in situations that aren’t. He works with individuals who are dealing with anxiety, depression, addictions, affairs, anger, grief, loss, faith exploration, separation, divorce, financial stresses, midlife and aging, self-esteem, and career stresses.

In his own family, Doug has vibrant relationships with his wife of 36 years and their daughter. (So he feels pretty good about the quality of his life at the moment!)
